Every season we as archers go through the task of tuning our broad heads to our arrows to get the best flight out of our arrows. Sometimes we don’t get the straightest flight that we want out of our very expensive arrows and broad heads. Once that arrow is shot into that tree stump next to the target or a field tip shot into the side of our basement we always take a moment and wonder how are we going to get that tip out so we can keep on shooting.

I got my hands on this broad head extractor by chance and I want to let you all know that this is an essential tool every archer needs to have in there toolbox. This broad head extractor is from Flinch Outdoor Gear. It’s well thought out in the design of the broad head extractor and lightweight so you could put it in your daypack if needed. You can get the three blade or four blade extractor. The extractor can pull field tip points out as well as mechanical and fixed broad heads out of what ever you shoot them into. The broad head extractor is made out of stainless steel and a lightweight sturdy aluminum body. The extractor generates over 600 pounds, now that’s what I call pulling power. If you purchase one of the extractor’s you can buy the other body whether it be the 4 blade or 3 blade body so that you can have the choice of what ever broad head that you use.

Inside the aluminum body there is a stainless steel shaft that’s held by a set screw which holds both parts together all you do is screw on the extractor onto your broad head.

Then turn the T handle clockwise to extract the broad head.

Make sure as you turn the T-handle clockwise that align the blades through machined cut out slots on the body.

Turn T-handle until tip comes out. Check to make sure the tip is still shoot able, then screw it back in and shoot away. The flinch broad head extractor also extracts field tips just like you would for broad heads.

This extractor is so easy even the kids can help extract tips out with you.
