Greg Jacobsen
The son of an Army officer, Greg was raised to love the outdoors and grew up skiing, camping, hunting, and fishing with his family. Now an Army officer with a family himself, he continues the tradition by passing his knowledge on to his wife Liz, and daughters Alex-12 and Samantha-9. The entire family loves hiking, fishing, camping and skiing together. Alex, his oldest daughter, passed the Hunter's Education Course at 10 years of age and now wing shoots with her father at every opportunity. Her father recently indoctrinated her in the art of fly fishing as well, while Liz and Samantha consistently out fish them both with spinning reels. Trying to outfit an entire family with camping gear, camouflage clothing, shotguns, fishing rods & reels, waders, skis, and snowboards is quite a challenge but Greg manages to stay on budget and always gets the best equipment for the job.

Trevor McConnell
Over the last decade Trevor "Bubba" McConnell has been a three season backpacking guide: developed outdoor leadership curriculum, traveled to numerous countries for backcountry skiing and mountaineering, became a well published photographer, earned a position as a white water rafting instructor, became an AMGA (American Mountaineering Guide Association) trained rock and ice climbing guide, mountain bike guide, ski instructor, a trainer for young professionals in the Challenge Course industry, a Swift Water Rescue Technician and currently guide full time throughout the central portion of Colorado’s high country. During all of this, he developed a vibrant attention to what I want from a technical standpoint as well as what his clients want from their equipment. It is with great pleasure that he begins a new relationship with Outdoor Product Review to enhance the community of users both technical and general with un-biased reviews on today’s best outdoor equipment.
